
| The Following is a List of our Minimum Hiring Requirements. We have taken the time to lay out our requirements in detail. There is not much we can do outside of these limits. Must Be at least 22 Years Old on Date of Hire. Class A CDL License (no endorsements required). Tractor Trailer Experience: 3 Months in the past 12 Months or 12 Months in the past 5 years. You MUST HAVE one or the other. Experience can be ANY Verifiable Tractor Trailer Experience Pulling 48 Foot Trailers or Longer at least 1000 miles a week. Drivers Living East of I35 can start with as little as 3 months of Experience. No DUI's in the past 5 Years. No More than 2 DUI's Ever. (The Second DUI must be older than 15 years.) No more than 3 Moving Violations in the past 36 months. No Careless or Reckless Driving Charges in the past 36 Months. No Major PREVENTABLE accidents in the past 36 Months. (over $10,000.00 in damage) No more than 2 Preventable Accidents in the past 12 months, unless Driver has Over 5 Years CDL Driving Experience. No Felony Conviction in the past 5 Years. No Jail Time or Probation for a Felony in the past 5 years. Misdemeanors Accepted if not Drug, Gun, or Violent Crime Related. Drug, Gun and Violent Crime Charges USUALLY accepted if OVER 5 Years Old. No Jail Time or Probation for a Misdemeanor in the past 3 years. Drug Related Misdemeanors Accepted if Over 5 Years Ago. Criminal Charges that are Extremely "Old" are Accepted on a Case by Case Basis. Must Pass a DOT Physical and Drug Test. Favorable References from Past Employers. No More that 1 Excessive Speeding (15mph or more) in the past 3 Years. No "Open Container" or Public Intoxication Charges in the Past 3 Years. No Conviction for Leaving the scene of an accident in the past 3 years. No conviction for exhibition of speed or "drag racing" in the past 3 years. No current License Suspension or License Suspension in excess of One Year in the past 3 years for a non-moving violation. No License Suspension in Excess of 30 Days in the Past 3 Years for a Moving Violation. No Pending Accidents (can be approved by Manager) No Failure or Refusal to take a Drug or Alcohol Test in the past 5 Years. No DUI in a Commercial Vehicle EVER. No conviction of Reckless Homicide or Involuntary Manslaughter Ever. No Conviction of "Hit and Run" in a Commercial Vehicle Ever. No Conviction for use of a Motor Vehicle in the Commission of a Felony Ever. No Conviction of Assault with a Motor Vehicle Ever. No Conviction of Fleeing or Eluding a Police Officer in a Commercial Vehicle Ever. ALL Rear End Accidents Regardless of Time Period Must be Reviewed by a Manager.
